Lauren Manfredi joined the board July 2016. Lauren works as a Director of Sales in the hospitality industry. Growing up, she was involved with the theater program in school as well as being a classically trained singer. Her love for music and theater has grown over the years and she enjoy’s bringing the joy she has for music and theater to the young people of the community.

Tracy has a PR background and is a dedicated, invaluable board member. Her son Ian, loves the arts and has been a part of Spotlights original plays. Tracy is passionate about this program because she wants to see every child receive the training they want.

Chris Churches

Founder /  Executive Director

Chris started this company as Sounds of Joy in 2007 after teaching piano, guitar and vocals for over 20 years. She is an adviser to the board and works as the executive director. She is married to Kenny Churches and they have four young, singers and dancers and actors who help teach Spotlight..

Sarah Hinkle

Sarah Hinkle has helped Spotlight with writing, teaching and administration 

for years.  She works in the community, at her kids school, and continues to be invaluable to Spotlight!

Founder / Vice President

Jen Trostel is one of  the founding members of Spotlight Kids Theatre.  Along with her duties as Vice President, Jen helps to write & direct the original productions for Spotlight.  She loves children and the arts and is excited about this new phase and all of the lives we will be able to touch.
